Frontline

Frontline is composed of a group of men that display a servant’s heart.  We are responsible for maintaining order throughout the service by directing and seating people in an orderly manner and administering the offering.  We assist with parking and helping individuals that may have mobility issues get to their seat.  We also help with setup and break down of Sunday services.

Greeters

The greeter team believes that loving God is loving His people and we stand behind the Now Church mission of ensuring each person that walks through the doors feels a sense of faith, family and community.

Hospitality

Romans 12:13 (NIV), When God's people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. 

The Hospitality Ministry exists to capture the true essence of the joy and fulfillment we experience when fellowshipping at Now Church. The care invested into serving one another has been an important fellowship element to us. Our service is to give kind and generous assistance in catering and event planning as the need arises. Our sacred duty is to have a positive and friendly attitude towards our members, guests, visitors, and the community at large.

Hospitality members agree to adhere and align with Now Church’s mission and purpose. 

Marketing & Media

The goal of the media team is to share God’s Word, with excellence, using audio and video technology, creativity and numerous facets of multimedia production to expand the audience of Now Church.  This ministry is responsible for overseeing electronic communications, church publications, and advertising.  We also assist the ministry in achieving the highest quality of sound and visual presentation.

Medical Team

The Medical Team provides on-site emergency first aid to anyone with a medical emergency while at Now Church services or events. The Medical Care Team consists of certified medical professionals including Medical Doctors, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Emergency Medical Technicians and other healthcare professionals.  Our goal is to help allow the members of Now Church to worship in a healthy safe environment.

Member Services

Member Services’ mission is rooted in Now Church's core values of faith, family and community. We serve as a connection point and resource for visitors, regular attendees, and members alike. Whether you are a first-time visitor, have a prayer request, wish to attend New Member Class, need to sign up for an event, are interested in having your baby dedicated, or want to get baptized, Member Services can assist.

Our core scope of services include:

-First-time visitor engagement and follow up 

-Host Meet and Greets

-Host New Member Class

-Receive and process volunteer applications 

-Weekly What’s Happening at Now Church Newsletter 

Operations (Facilities)

The facilities team is designed to support every aspect of the ministry.  We assist before, during, and after every service or event held at Now Church.  Our goal is to help the church function effectively and efficiently, by helping with setup and breakdown and making sure that each ministry has what it needs to be able to have a successful event.  The facilities team is the muscle and strength behind the ministry.  We also maintain the church buildings and grounds to ensure full and productive use of the campus and facilities.

Outreach

At Now Church we want to impact:

1.    Jerusalem (where we are/members),

2.    Judea (the surrounding community), and then

3.    Samaria (areas that extend past the surrounding community)

We aim to minister to the needs of the people in the church and the community by helping and showing compassion to single mothers, the homeless, and others who may be in need.  We know that there is much work to be done, so we also partner with other organizations within the community to provide helping hands and financial support. We are a demonstration of God’s love here on earth.

Prayer

The Prayer ministry exists to pray in the Kingdom of Heaven to the earth. We do this by praying the word of God, in full awareness of the Presence of God. We are committed to worshiping the Lord by praying for Now Church, its members, leaders, and its children. The prayer team meets for prayer on Sunday mornings, Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings.

Service Coordinator

Service Coordinators make sure that Sunday services flow from beginning to end.  We have coordinators in the service, lobby and children’s ministry.  If there is a need during service, we make sure that department gets what is needed. The individuals who serve on this team should be able to work well with a team, have good communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to complete tasks.

YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY

The Ones Ministry is our young adult ministry that offers accountability, confidentiality, trust, and a safe place. We are a fellowship ministry that provides quarterly gatherings for us to come together. While we are fostering wholeness and holiness, we also highlight that we can have fun in Jesus at the same time.

ONE38 Women’s Ministry

The name of the ministry comes from Luke 1:38, “I am the Lord’s servant. Be it unto me according to your word.”  That is the response that we should have to the things of God and the things of life.  Our desire is to be used by the Lord and follow him however He directs us. One 38 centers on meeting the spiritual needs of the women of Now Church and helping them grow their faith by building on the Word of God.  One 38 hosts women’s fellowships and other events to empower women to be their very best and build relationships with each other.

THE SHIELD MEN’S MINISTRY

The Shield Men’s Ministry promotes spiritual growth and bonding among the men at Now Church by developing them to become strong, mature spiritual leaders and role models. Men’s fellowships address issues that confront marriage, finances, leadership, attitudes, behaviors, thinking processes, and positive ways of change. The fellowships also help connect men with each other through outings and activities.

NOW KIDS (2 years – 5th grade)

To impact our NOW to affect our tomorrow by teaching lessons as we explore Bible stories and life topics to prepare our kids to become who they are in Christ:

Now Kids Objective
To create a culture that promotes a partnership in our 3 areas of influence AND impact here at Now Church.

Faith = Our weekly truth from the bread of life (our Bibles).

Family = A partnership with our parents to be an example and further teach what is being shared in NOW Kids. The parents will be given the tools to assist the kids in their sponge years and further impact their areas of influence.

Community = Being a difference in our spaces: schools, families, and neighborhoods. Win for the Kingdom by doing what we have learned while being an example for Christ. Being a NOW Kid.

NOW YOUTH (6th – 12th grades)

We engage youth in our community by encouraging a relationship with God, equipping them through the word of God, to expand the kingdom of God.

Mission
Raising up a generation who will believe in Jesus, take a stand for Jesus, and tell others about Jesus.
